The second picture clearly illustrates the active ingredient, BEC5, breakthrough technology to trace and identify cancer cells. Once the cream penetrates the skin, the BEC finds the long line of cancer cells that run together like train tracks.
My question is, once these 'train tracks" appear, do you apply the BEC5 to them as well as the original area? Additionally, do you apply the Tamanu oil after your done using the BEC5 and it has healed over?
Answer:
The aim of treatment is to treat the cancer so whether or not there are
tracts is irrelevant. So apply the cream on the lesion until it is
healed. Tamanu oil assists in the healing process but it does not kill
cancer cells. So you have to make sure that the cancer cells are all
dead before you start to apply the Tamanu oil. Tamanu oil is only an
aid to treatment and is therefore not absolutely necessary but it may
help in reducing the formation of scar tissue.
